Rules of participation in Competition and requirements to form materials

Rules of Participation

· During the development of symbolic-logo author(s) should be pursued to a clear, expressive and original work performance.

· Works done individually as well as collectively will be presented in competition. Number of works submitted to the contest from one party or the community is not limited.

· Students and teachers staff can be participants of the competition.

· The logo must be simple in design, easily reproducible, memorable. In addition, the logo should be proportional to the form which has to be in black and white with a significant change (increase, decrease) in the format.

2.2. Requirements to details of work:

· In the proposed image in any case should not be listed contact information, any other information about the contestants (age, gender and ethnicity).

· Allowed to use inscription “KHNMU”, use of any geometric shapes, symbols and simple images.

· Color scheme and technique - at the discretion of the participant (which is allowed as a black-and-white color).

· Do not use elements of existing copyright logos of other organizations, infringing parties, including third parties.

· Design of symbolic-logo should be developed taking into account its further implementation in a variety of materials and techniques.

· Layouts emblems are to be sent in the following formats: JPEG, PNG, PDF.

Dates

Competition will be from 27^th of March till 27^th of April 2014.

Criteria for assessing the competitive project symbolic-logo

4.1. Artistic level of accomplished work.

4.2. Ease of perception.

4.3 Conciseness of visual techniques.

4.4. Originality graphic solutions.

4.5. Manufacturability and ease of replication.

4.6. Creativity.

4.7. The Logo should not hurt any feelings of national, cultural and religious nature.

Conditions of Competition

5.1. Works are accepted till 27.04.2014 to this email: hnmu.ksss@mail.ru

5.2. In term till 30.04.2014 contest committee evaluates and selects the best 3 symbolic-logos of CSU.

5.3. Competition Committee determines winners through open voting. Results of the contest formalized in protocol.

5.4. In the future, the contest organizers reserve the right to use the work at its own discretion.

5.5. The best symbolic-logo design after approval by the Committee will be declared as the official emblem of the Student Union of KHNMU and the winner receives a certificate of 1^st degree and priceless gift.

5.6. Participants, who received second and third places, will also be rewarded with certificates and priceless gifts.

5.8. Competition winner gets the right, if necessary, to revision of submitted work.

5.10. In case if, none of the presented works will not meet requirements and criteria of the competition, the committee has the right to decide on extension of tender and to assign a new event.

5.11. Participants must submit their proposals along with the application form in which you want to enter your full contact details.

5.12. Any person submitting a logo in the contest certifies and warrants that his project will not violate the rights of a third party or to any copyright.
