There are a lot of different regulations and restrictions at the airports nowadays. They regulate what things are prohibited, what things are limited and what things are allowed to be carried on board.
There are also strict rules of transportation of dangerous goods.
The new rules are applied to drinks, creams, perfumes, sprays, gels, toothpaste, lipstick, lip balm, etc. Basically, this includes anything you can pour or spray. These rules are necessary to protect you from danger of liquid explosives.
Dangerous goods are any solids, liquids, or gases that can be dangerous for people, property, or the environment.
Dangerous goods carried on board can cause traffic accidents or incidents, such as spillage of the goods, leading to fire, explosion, chemical burn or environmental damage.
All the airports have Security Personnel, who screen for prohibited items at the airports to protect everyone. Their purpose is to minimize the risk of incidents or accidents.
Dangerous goods include materials that are:
· Explosive and flammable:fireworks, dynamite, ammunition, sparklers, matches, signal flares, flammable gases & liquids, spray paint, solvents, bleach,
· Oxidizing (help a fire to burn more fiercely),
· Water reactive,
· Radioactive,
· 
Toxic,
· 
Poisonous,
· Acid,
· Corrosive: car batteries, mercury,
· Weapons: guns, pepper spray, knives.
