2. After finding out where Holden is, do you think he needs to be where he is? Why or why not?

3. After hearing Holden’s thoughts at the end of the story, how do you think he has changed with regards to preserving innocence?

4. Holden is often hypocritical—he says one thing but does another. Analyze three examples of him being hypocritical.

Academic Challenges—You can complete the academic challenges for extra credit.
