Rationale
This set of activities provides some practical advice on organizing preparatory work for writing task C2 of Russian State Exam. All the tasks were designed according to the methodological framework from controlled to guided and free writing. The suggested activities can be used by teachers and students who are seeking for ready-made samples for training. It offers a pack of writing techniques which can be easily adopted.
Aim
Ø to supply teachers and students with a variety of techniques preparing for writing task C2
Objectives
By the end of the series of lessons students will be able to
Ø organize a text and paragraphs within a text logically
Ø select vocabulary to convey attitude and implied meaning
Ø express information cohesively by using linking, generalizations and summaries.
Ø use variation of grammar structures in order to develop a theme clearly and emphasize the main points
