Verbal Communication is divided into: oral and written communication. Oral communication includes face-to-face conversations, telephonic conversation, video, radio, television. It brings quick feedback. You can see people's reaction immediately and explain them something if they don't understand you. But in face-to-face discussion, a person is unable to deeply think about what he is delivering.

In written communication message can be transmitted via email, letter, report, memo etc. Message, in written communication, is influenced by the vocabulary & grammar used, writing style and clarity of the language used. So you should know all these aspects very well.

3. New technologies that have contributed to improvement of communication.

Communication has been vastly improved thanks to the integration of technology. It improves accessibility, flexibility and collaboration. Employers today can reach employees at any given time and employees can check in any time they need to reach the office. Laptops and cell phones offer constant contact. People can work from various locations and it is not uncommon to find people working from home, on the road, in airport terminals and other locations. Рeople can send their messages by e-mail. Meetings can be held virtually from any location by using video and web conferencing; this offers a high degree of flexibility. Technology has increased the flow of communication within the workplace. Electronic communication methods in the workplace include email, voicemail, videoconferences. For businesses, electronic communication has created new opportunities for expanding businesses internationally.

4. Effective communication within an organization.

Poor communication and lack of feedback can lead to unmotivated employees and a negative corporate culture. Sociologists have long recognized that businesses of less than 200 individuals can operate through the free flow of information among the members. In large organizations information can only flow along certain channels because only certain individuals contact each other regularly; moreover, the lack of personalized contacts means that individuals lack that sense of personal commitment. Favours will only be done when there is a clear quid pro quo, an immediate return to the giver. Large organizations are less flexible. One solution to this problem would be to structure large organizations into smaller units of a size that can act as a cohesive group. People must be able to build direct personal relationships. To allow free flow of information, they have to be able to interact in a casual way. Informal communication contributes to problem-solving. Someone had a problem they could not solve, and began to discuss it over lunch with a friend. Someone overhearing the conversation would have a suggestion. Informal communication makes people comfortable with each other and improves work inside organizations.
